I have a regulation (15'8") spinnaker pole for a Passport 40. It is in good condition and I will let it go for shipping cost. I have no way to store it.

I'm interested, Al. I could come over to South Beach and pick it up.

Allen, go with Craig's offer. It will be too expensive for me to ship the pole to Texas. And the 18'+ long fixed length is a lot to store vertically on my mast.

thanks,
Bill Caz.

Craig,

Hmmm.  Craig my mail was in 3 minutes earlier.  However, since it would fit perfectly on your P40 and not need to be repurposed into a spinnaker sprite it sounds like a better use. ...

One question how are you going to fit that in your BMW convertible?    It's really going to hang out the top by about 12'...Haa ha.  Let me know and I'll help you pick it up with the Rover.

John.

Allen,

Hi there.  What is the diameter?   If  you have no takers for a spin pole I could use it for potentially a bow sprit pole for my asym.  I would only need 8' or so, but could shorten it.

Thanks,

John

Hi Bill,

The "easy" way to store it on the mast is with a 6:1 continuous pulley system with a track.  Then you only have to really deal with one end.  This is how mine is set up on Dream Keeper P42.  Works great.

Hi Al,
If I should be the lucky winner of your pole, let me know where it is and when I can pick it up. John B is standing by to assist. We could come by land or bay. Haven't decided yet.  We're both available tomorrow.
Thanks,
Craig

Hi Allen,

Do you still have this pole? I am in need of one.

Thanks,
Mike
