Open House for the Pitney Passive House Project and a New Passive House Movie Premiere!...

Hello All,
So this project we did the CPHC work for is having 2 events coming up and everyone is invited!!
It is located in McMinnville and they would love to see some folks from the PH community come and check out this super efficient and lovely Passive House!
The First event is a Video Premiere about the Pitney House and is going to be Wednesday July 27th at 4p, at the Grain Station, 755 ne Alpine Rd., McMinnville, Or 97128
Fun place, with great food and drink available! http://www.grainstation.com/
The Second event is going to be an Open House on August 3rd, 4p-7p at the Pitney Passive House, 928 nw Cedar Street, McMinnville, Or 97128
The architect (Matt Daby) , CPHC (Hinge Build Group), the builders (Cellar Ridge Construction) & the owners will be there to answer questions and give tours.
Highlights;
The home is Certified Passive House (pending),
has a 5.2K PV array,with an expected output of 6,900kWh annually (near net zero at least including their electric car)
a 9,000 gallon water cistern system that will provide all the water for the Pitneys
The Home is only about 1,000sf, something that is much tougher to do Passive and hit the required blower door test than in larger buildings (Final Blower Door is 0.51ACH50!)
This is an amazing project, and if you have a chance to come check it out you certainly should!
