Support Specialist
Manage multiple vendor package applications and processes from initial
installation, to configuration and implementation of business partner requests.
This position will perform a variety of support assignments requiring knowledge
of Microsoft and Unix operating system platforms; install, configure test and
troubleshoot enterprise packages.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in Information Technology is required.
- 5 years Unix scripting and/or Java Scripting experience
- Advanced knowledge of the fundamental principles of functional and unit testing is required.
- Advanced knowledge of packaged systems maintenance development methodology is preferred.
- Microsoft Professional certification, Unix Systems Certification or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
- Support of wire systems for resolution of production incidents

The Application Developer (support specialist) position will be
responsible to manage multiple vendor package applications and processes from
initial installation, to configuration and implementation of business partner
requests. This position will perform a variety of support assignments requiring
knowledge of Microsoft and Unix operating system platforms; install, configure
test and troubleshoot enterprise packages utilizing the appropriate hardware,
database, and programming technology and confer with users to gain
understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing vendor
applications. This position will also be responsible for providing support for
an integrated Wire Transfer platform that includes vendor packages (ACI’s Money
Transfer System, Universal Online Banking System, and Reprunner, CGI FX Product
Suite, IR Pulse/Prognosis, IBM Cognos Impromptu Reporting) and customized
mainframe processes. Other duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology is preferred.
· Eight years of relevant work experience in Information Technology is required.
· Advanced knowledge of the fundamental principles of functional and unit testing is required.
· Advanced knowledge of packaged systems maintenance development methodology is preferred.
· Microsoft Professional certification, Unix Systems Certification or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.

· Candidates must have solid customer service skills, project management skills and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role.
· Configuration, installation, testing and support of wire transfer vendor package system (ACI-MTS) in a Unix server environment
· Configuration, installation, testing and support of FX wire transfer vendor package system (CGIFX Product Suite) in a Windows server environment.
· Configuration, installation, testing and support of IR Pulse/Prognosis package system in a Windows server environment.
· Configuration, installation, testing and support of IBM Cognos Impromptu and ACI Reprunner package systems in a Windows server environment.
· OFAC/Fraud Systems maintenance and support
· Support of wire systems for resolution of production incidents
· On-call support for wires system during overnight and weekend hours
· Business partner interaction for the identification, documentation and resolution of business partner development requests.
· Business
partner testing support for installation/upgrade of Wires Systems
Minimum:
5 years Unix scripting and/or Java Scripting experience
Preferred:
5 years current successful query development with Microsoft SQL Server
