Need someone who knows the “CRM and reporting piece” to help us “build test cases, understand capabilities of the system” etc. 
To do that successfully it will require:
•Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
•Eliciting business requirements and analyzing existing business processes and their alignment with current systems or proposed solutions.
•Modeling proposed software specifications and perform requirement / artifact traceability.
•Acting as liaison for the integration and communication among applications, databases, and technology platforms on a business and technological level.
•Conducting business process analyses and business needs/requirements elicitation in an effort to align information technology with business initiatives. Performing business process re-engineering (BPR) as appropriate.
•Performing analysis on existing systems; identifying options for potential solutions and assess for both technical and business suitability.
•Understanding organizational motivations: problems, goals, and objectives. Assessing and documenting the benefits, risks, and critical success factors of the project. Ensuring / demonstrating that business needs are satisfied within a given technical solution.
•Participating in developing functional and non-functional requirements, testing, training, and implementing applications into production environments that support the business unit.
•Working between remote development teams, internal IT and business to ensure requirements are being met.
•Leveraging CASE tools or templates to create elicitation, analysis, specification, validation artifacts.
•Determining internal and external boundaries of project scope; raise change requests as required.

 

This isn’t a role that any BA can fill – we need someone who stands our above the crowd.  If that person is you, then you have the following skills and/or experience:
•5+ years of IT experience as a Business Analyst
•Strong Knowledge and Experience with Microsoft Dynamics; especially reporting functions.
•Some experience performing Quality Assurance functions, including test case generation.
•Fundamental knowledge of the IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK).
•Pursuing the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
•Possess strong people skills. Ability to facilitate communication across the organization.
•Ability to run highly effective cross-discipline meetings.
•Experience preparing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations.
•Expertise in analyzing the underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements and problems and identifies available options for consideration.
•Understanding of technical design specifications.
•Advanced knowledge of RUP or other requirements methodology.
•Working knowledge of UML use case, class, activity models, sequence diagrams, prototypes, and how the interrelate. Basic knowledge of UML component models and deployment models.
•Working knowledge of business rule taxonomy and elicitation techniques. Working knowledge of RUP Design phase along with basic Internet and client/server architectures.
•Experience with HTML, database design, vertical prototyping.
•Expert knowledge of Blueprint, Visio, and other CASE tools.
•Ability to facilitate RRD workshops.
