Greetings all,

Based on Sharon's email, I went ahead to create the new State ID export to send to the MEDMS Helpdesk. The fields match up beautifully. I thought the only thing I had to do was to change the filename to match what the state is looking for, WRONG! Check your district ID.

Your District ID within IC probably hasn't been updated to the new codes. I didn't realize this until I happen to go into IC Community area to find the location of the school codes to realize that IC created a case to change our district ID.

Change your first column to the new district ID and you should be good to go in creating the secure email.

Also a heads up - the format I got back from the state does not match what IC is expecting to import in Index > State Reporting > New State ID Report .  

You need to remove the column Row Number (col 1) and the column Resolved Name (col 11) and reformat the Birth Date column to be yyyyMMdd.  It came back to me as MM/dd/yyyy .

Time to file a case with IC. It would be nice if their import could
accept the format of the Edupoint Synergy export. But, maybe the file
we are getting through this manual process is different from what
we'll get when we do it ourselves.

Yup - I've already emailed Gabe Harder directly.  He's the analyst who is working on the project.
