Problems with Messenger?

Anyone hosted or otherwise out there having problems with Messenger this morning?

I can create 'em, I just can't test 'em or send 'em....on the phone with IC now listening to muzac...

We had problems last week. None of the voice recorders worked, either busy or a live person.

Nothing I have heard about this am.

Does it make any difference if the term end date is for a prior date than today?  If you end dated your year on June 10th, does it consider your students inactive as of June 10?

No, it's not that.  I hit "save" and it blinks.  I hit "preview and send" and it

blinks.

It's not connected to the Mother Ship, apparently.

I'll check ours in the am and send out to the list.

We run off adhocs for all and by grade level. In the summer (after the end of school and the first day of school) we have to take the active flag off for messenger to obtain contacts.

Me too.  That wasn't it.  It wasn't that it returned no recipients.

It's that the screen stayed flat...."test" and "save" and "view" resulted in

a quick screen blip and then nothing....no "test sent" etc.

Message wasn't "saved".

IC was able to log in as me from afar and send it.....leaving me knowing I'm not smart enough to figure out what's going on in our Google domain since I eliminated school-specific network and device. Not a browser or caching issue. Not one specific email address as the sender.

Anyone have any brain-teaser ideas?

I was able to send my message today.  I had end dated our enrollments, so I used the end date in my filter and it worked perfectly.  I unchecked the "active student" button which I had missed previously.  All in all it went well.

I brain stormed with Don )Harkin) this morning, and he thinks it may be an

issue with a firewall here in our Google world.

So the next time it gets weird, I'm going to get in my car and drive someplace

else...and see what happens.  SC to see my grandbaby should work....      :-)
