 *  update 1537.2 version scheduled? Hasn't been brought out to the test site yet.
   * This has a fix for SPED editors not printing correctly. Development Team  (SIS-89111-ME-IEP PLAAFP editor printing incorrectly.  Background info:   SPED staff enter text into plans and when printed it comes up as NA  instead of the typed in text.
   * How many people are still using the IC Special Ed module?  Biddeford and Bonney Eagle are. AOS92 shifted to ADORI last year.  Many schools want to use it.
 * NEO/MEDMS Returning staff number changes.  AOS92 has had a few people retire and come back, and the staff ID number is changed on the state side.  We use the staff ID number is a lot of places, so a changed number can be a challenge.Same in RSU4, we use it with several other systems like Empower and STAR (Ren Learn)
 * Who is building proficiency-based diploma in IC?
   * Standards or proficiency has been an ongoing topic for years.
   * Maine Cohort for Customized learning put pressure on this issue
   * Tech centers were heavily standards-based.
   * New state requirement for standards-based diploma has raised this issue again.
     * Standards are tied to courses, not students, which was a problem
     * New releases have a new Learning Module, not released to all districts.
       * https://community.infinitecampus.com/kb/display/DOC/Campus+Learning
       * Would it be possible to obtain more info on this module from IC?
   * Anyone using the new Learning module (standards)? Bonnie Eagle will be a pilot for some standards-based IC stuff. Kickoff is October.
   * Is it possible to schedule another state wide informational web-ex
     * https://www.masteryconnect.com/
     * http://www.educatek12.com/
     * https://www.jumpro.pe/
   * October Interchange is supposed to have these topics, but no date given yet.
 * RTI Module - anyone using it?  Pros/Cons.  One school is using it, very similar to the Special Ed module.  Many schools had been using the PLP or Contact Log features to track RTI.
 * Student ID numbers to outside services.  Is this a privacy issue?
   * "You should not give a vendor the State assigned student identifier especial if it is connected with the Student's Name. This defeats the purpose of the unique identifier to keep students unidentified.  Also, the new law (PL 2015 CH, 256) restricts the use of State assigned student identifier by an operator (this vendor could fall under this definition of operator)." Mike Muir, ACTEM List Sept 15, 2015
   * http://www.mainelegislature.org/legis/bills/bills_127th/chapters/PUBLIC256.asp
   * Many districts use this for EVERYTHING.... from library to assessment programs.
   * "You should expect soon an article in the Commissioner's Update on these privacy bills and on some guidance on student privacy." Mike Muir
 * Transition away from Custom for support. How has it been?
   * Custom still used for custom projects like custom transcripts
   * We have found the Campus support to not always charge us for little things.
   * I don't think it has been a bad shift.
 * Additional questions:
   * Site visits from new data managers?  Chance to see how others are doing things.

next meeting after the next ACTEM meeting
