Hello,

I'm trying to get Stunt/Improvise running on my server, but I'm getting an error after a bit when attempting to install the lambdacore package...

@install lambdacore with $composed
Installing version "0.0.5" of package "lambdacore" from the remote archive...
Adding package dictionary (The System Object) to parents of $system...
#9:_do_instructions (this == #9), line 11:  Invalid argument
... called from #9:install (this == #9), line 36
... called from #9:@install (this == #9), line 65
... called from #5:huh (this == #5), line 6
(End of traceback)

Not sure if this is relevant, but I'm also now seeing an explanation point next to the installed "application" package, which I don't believe was there originally:

Installed packages
==================
   alt, 0.0.4 (#86) Alt, Player Package
 ! application, 0.0.10 (#139) Application Package
   ask, 0.0.2 (#99) Ask, Query Package
   blink, 0.0.1 (#75) Blink, Structured Document Package
   core, 0.0.4 (#26) Core Package
   dialog, 0.1.2 (#117) Dialog, Web Server Package
   dialog_extras, 0.0.7 (#128) Dialog, Extras
   identity, 0.0.3 (#93) Identity Package
   kernel, 1.1.5 (#2) Kernel Package
   model, 0.0.1 (#107) Model Package
   mustache, 1.0.1 (#135) Mustache Templating Language Package
   persistent, 0.0.2 (#103) Persistent Package
   plastic, 1.0.1 (#41) Plastic, MOOcode Parser Toolkit Package
   primitive, 0.0.6 (#11) Primitive Package
   text_tools, 0.0.1 (#38) Text Tools

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
James

Update: I managed to resolve this — not sure how, but on the off-chance it'll help someone later on:

Using another fresh Improvise.db, all I did differently this time was:

Successfully install unit/mettle packages:

@install unit with $composed
@install mettle with $composed

Fail to successfully install mysqlfrob package:

@install mysqlfrob with $composed

Run $composer:reinitialize verb using eval::

;$composed:reinitialize();

No idea if it actually played a role in the problem disappearing, but the lambdacore package installed fine afterwards for whatever reason.

Cheers,
J

When issuing this command:
@install lambdacore with $composed

The following output is given:
Jun 17 17:57:34: WIZARDED: #158 by programmer #5
Jun 17 17:57:34: #8:write_value (this == #8), line 36:  Wizard bit set.

Jun 17 17:57:34: ... called from #9:import (this == #9), line 128
Jun 17 17:57:34: ... called from #9:import_package_from_archive (this == #9), line 5
Jun 17 17:57:34: ... called from #9:@install (this == #9), line 62
Jun 17 17:57:34: ... called from #5:huh (this == #5), line 6
Jun 17 17:57:34: (End of traceback)

Is this related?

I just compiled the server myself.

After following your steps here, the same issue presents itself.

I get this too. End result? It horribly, horribly breaks the install.
