unexplainable server crashes

hi all
So, at about 4:20 every day my server just crashes.
There is no reason for it to do so, the logs show nothing odd, the db checpoints every hour, its not being overloaded with players but it just.... crashes.
I'm using gamma moo "1.8.2g4r1" if that helps anyone, is it just an unstable version?
This is quite frustrating for me, as unlike many other MOO's mine is unstable, and for the players as they have to wait for me to get up in the morning to reboot the server.
The server itself runs at 4 percent CPU usage and about 30 percent RAM.
