Hi all,

I searched the group to get GWT working with my AMD64 ubuntu gutsy.
But i had no luck yet....

I installed the "ia32-sun-java6-bin" package ( i386 java) and tried to
use this jvm on the "GWT Project" in eclipse.

I tried to start the "shell" and got an error... So I searched again
the group and saw that I should set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

After that I tried to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH before start eclipse:

# export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/norman/apps/gwt-linux-1.4.60/
mozilla-1.7.12/

Then I got an other error:

** Unable to load Mozilla for hosted mode **
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /usr/lib/firefox/libxpcom.so: Can't
load AMD 64-bit .so on a IA 32-bit platform
at java.lang.ClassLoader$NativeLibrary.load(Native Method)

190)
at com.google.gwt.dev.BootStrapPlatform.go(BootStrapPlatform.java:40)
at com.google.gwt.dev.GWTShell.main(GWTShell.java:318)

Anyone can help on this ? It whould really a "good" contribution to
add and "HOWTO" for amd64 platform, even if i still not get why GWT
is not builded for AMD64 too..

Anyway
Thx Norman

After moving to GWT-1.4.61 the problem disapear. Don't know why
because I don't see any "fix" in the changelog which whould explain
why it now works.

bye
Norman
