to Google AJAX APIs
Welcome to the support forum for Google's Search, Feed, Language, and
Libraries APIs.

**Please note: This group is moderated and your first post may take a
little while to show up in the groups while it goes through the
initial moderation process.

- IRC Channel: We also offer an IRC channel where you can seek help
and advice from the developers and our expert community, please feel
free to join us at:

Server: irc.geekshed.net
Channel: #googleapis

If you don't have an IRC client handy, click on the link below to use
a browser-based client:

http://mibbit.com/?channel=%23googleapis&server=irc.geekshed.net

- Posting Guidelines: Before posting your question to the group,
please have a look through the recently updated docs and search
through the posts already made to the groups - chances are, your
question may have already been asked and answered. Additional
resources and links will also be added to the project page on Google
Code http://code.google.com/p/google-ajax-apis/

* If you're having issues with your page or code, please post a link
to your page, working or not, as this helps people debug it easier
then posting the code in the groups. If you can't provide a link to
your application, please use a pasting service instead to post code
like http://paste-it.net/ or http://pastebin.com/ as this helps
prevent formatting issues that happen when posting code in the groups.

- Important Changes: We are proud to announce new versions of some of
the APIs, which offer new features and capabilities, including an APIs
console for managing your usage. Please read the blog posts below for
more information:

http://googlecode.blogspot.com/2010/11/introducing-google-apis-console-and-our.html

http://googleajaxsearchapi.blogspot.com/2010/11/fall-housekeeping.html

- API Keys: As we transition from old APIs to new, there are,
unfortunately, two styles of keys. This is a temporary situation, but
could result in some confusion for now. The new APIs (such as
Translate v2 and Custom Search) use keys from the APIs console
(https://code.google.com/apis/console). In many cases these keys are
required. The older APIs do not require keys, though they are
recommended to help fulfill the identification requirements of these
APIs. You may use the APIs console keys with the old APIs, but, since
they aren't in the Console (yet!), you may also use the old-style keys
from here: http://code.google.com/apis/loader/signup.html

- Playground: If you're new to our APIs and just want to dive in
playing with some code and check out some of the neat things you can
do with them, then please check out the API Playground at
http://code.google.com/apis/ajax/playground/

- Feedback and Bug Reports: As always, your feedback is important to
us, please let us know how we can improve our APIs and Developer
experience. If you have a bug to report or want to suggest a feature
please use our Issue Tracker so we can better manage them and also so
others can comment on and vote (star) them as well (please make sure
to search for the issue or feature first before posting).

Happy Coding! :)
