Google API key?

I'm trying to load RSS from another site, an affilaite site which gave me there RSS kit.. which has xls and csv files..

I am following these steps..

It now says google API key is not used, is there a more up to date tutorial to be found?

Any help would be great.

What about Google's documentation at https://developers.google.com/feed/v1/devguide? It is up to date and does not seem any more complex than the linked tutorial.

The one thing I would note is that the Feeds API TOS explicitly states that Google may shut down the service any time after April 15, 2015. In other words, they may turn the thing off at any time, with or without warning. I would be very, very wary using it, and I would recommend strongly considering alternatives such as Yahoo! Pipes or rolling a custom system.
