GoFish4 in menu

Hi,

I still have in my 'Thor Tools -> Aplications -> GoFish' menuoption GoFIsh4 and menuoption GoFish5 the first is obsolete, however I cant find a way to remove that. Someone to give me hint?

I believe there's a relationship between the files in the Tools folder and what shows on the menu. Exploring that now...

This is correct.

Every tool in the Tools or My Tools folder appears (somewhere) in that menu.

So, if you can find the tool, erasing it should remove it from menu.  Renaming so that it does not start with "Thor_Tool" should work as well.

Just erase the PRG from the folder where it lives.

Use the Launcher to find the tool for you.

Jim,

Launcher will not show the directory, it only shows the program, which will call the procedure, Thor_Tool_GoFish4.Prg.

I found however D:\Thor\Tools\Apps\Gofish4 where the app resides, so renamed directory Gofish4.

Unfortunately it seems something more has to be done, as GoFish4 will still show in my menu after restarting VFP9.

So I have  than renamed all files which call Gofish4 and Gofish4_Beta  resulting in a clean menu without GoFish4, however now Thor errors on startup:

"GoFish is not installed; unable to proceed" a message you can ignore as Thor can proceed.

How can I get rid of this error message?

Restore the entire Thor folder as it existed before you made any changes and then erase the unwanted Tools from the "Thor\Tools" folder.

done that before I renamed all the GoFish4 files.

Please note, the menu is now cleared, it is only Thor erroring about GoFish not available. Is there somewhere an entry in some .dbf which causes this error? If so which .DBF do you advise to search?

Then the only thing you should do is to erase selected PRGs from the Thor\Tools folder.

I cannot advise you on how to proceed if you make any other changes.
