Apocalypse Now: The Depressing Reality of Trumpworld Malfeasance Explodes Before Our Very Eyes
It tastes bitter, like the ashes of our Democracy.

It has been arguably the worst – and most dangerous – week in Trumpworld since the night the New Duce was elected.
Here is a listing of the damage being done to us at the present moment in our history:
1. The Jews for Jesus Traitors
We now see prominent Jews routinely supporting the New Fascism because of the shameless Trump pandering on Jerusalem:

Messianic Zionists like Jonathan Sacks and Meir Soloveichik are clearly working on behalf of the corrupt Trump Administration and rejecting traditional Jewish values.
We see otherwise reasonable people like New York Jewish Week editor Gary Rosenblatt embracing Trump in classic Zionist Derangement Syndrome:
Rosenblatt is careful to prominently mention the Jews for Jesus traitors Soloveichik and Sacks who now represent the alliance with Anti-Semites like Mike Pence and Trumpworld Alt-Right Christian Fascism.
2. Devin Nunes: American Traitor, Trumpstooge
And then there is the ongoing attempt to destroy the Russia Investigation, which is being led by the ignorant and malevolent Trump surrogate Devin Nunes:

Nunes, the putative chair of the House “Intelligence” committee, has lived in infamy ever since he pulled a truly amazing stunt last year which sought to defend the criminal Trump by pretending to offer the White House information that he received from the White House itself!

It is important to note that Nunes was purportedly “cleared” in what appears to be a sham “ethics” investigation:

The sham, naturally, has all the earmarks of corrupt Trump cronyism that has made the House of Representatives a fully-owned subsidiary of Trump Industries.
The current Nunes controversy involves a “secret” memorandum which was written by his staffers that intensify the attacks on the FBI and seeks to pave the way for more firings of those who are working on the Russia Investigation:

The secret memo contains classified information which was cherry-picked by its authors in order to once again deflect from Trump and his associates’ criminal ties to Russia, and try to impute wrongdoing to the FBI and Department of Justice.
The DOJ has advised against releasing the misleading memo:

It appears that sounds of Carter Page laughing his head off can be heard all over the country.
Now that is one very happy guy – until he finds himself in a Federal Prison.
3. FBI Nyet, KGB Da: The Russians are Coming, the Russians are Coming!
In the midst of all this, we discovered that Russia sent the three heads of its spy agencies to Washington where they secretly met with the CIA director and other White House officials:

These meetings were not disclosed to the American media, as has been the case with other Trumpworld Russia White House shenanigans.
As the reporting, based on information openly provided by Russia’s news agencies, makes clear, Sergei Naryshkin was himself on the sanctioned list, legally barred from even entering the US, his assets frozen as part of the punitive actions against Russia for its invasion of Crimea.
So, at the very same time that Trumpworld was relentlessly attacking the credibility and integrity of our own intelligence agencies, the New Duce’s administration was rolling out the proverbial Red Carpet for the Reds!
4. Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid: The State of the Union is Horrifying!
It is in this toxic context that the idiot president stood in front of the whole country for the State of the Union farce, doing his best “Zombie Trump” impersonation while still chucking into the interminable speech a whole bunch of lies, distortions, and delusions with his typical arrogant hauteur:
Sitting right behind the New Duce was his new best friend Paul Ryan; the leader of the toady House Republicans who now represent the most fanatical of the Hate America crowd.
Indeed, the worst part of all this mess is that increasingly aggressive support from those reckless Congressional Republicans – the ones responsible to provide a Constitutional check on presidential malfeasance and criminality – who have all fallen into line when it comes to protecting Trump.
Ryan has become the most glaring example of this trend:
He has sold his putrid soul to the proverbial Trump Devil; one hopes that this whole crowd will be dragged in front of the Grand Jury and charged with treason.
5. The Trump Loyalty Oaths
We have seen a pattern of Trump the Autocratic Dictator demanding loyalty from various individuals related to the Russia Investigation.
Fired FBI Director James Comey testified to this demand in his Congressional hearing:

Now we have learned that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein has also been asked his devotion to the New Duce:

We continue to see a methodical process led by Trump and his lackeys in government and the media to undermine the Russia Investigation by attacking those in charge of it. Such Stalinist methods have become the New American Normal under a president who has no respect for our Constitution and for the Rule of Law.
6. The Pay-Off: Refusing the Russia Sanctions
Tying all the criminal malfeasance and Russia conspiracy-mongering into a very neat bow was the proud announcement that in the face of near-unanimous bipartisan support for new sanctions against Trump ally Vladimir Putin, the administration has denied the Congressional mandate:
It is clear that Trump has no fears when it comes to his criminal behavior.
He has been bought and paid for by the Kremlin and he is daring anyone to confront him on it.
It is truly hard to understand how bad things have gotten, and how they might still get worse.
