Hi,

When I try to execute 'dbsolo' command in Solaris command prompt, I
get the below error.
Please advice me what to do?

sybasedbas1:NEWDEV /opt/dba/dbsolo4>dbsolo
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to
X11 window server using 'sybasedbas1:0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY
variable.

Couple things,

1. what is your Solaris version - is it X86 or Sparc ?
2. what is your Java version
3. can you bring up an xterm ? without any problem ?
4. can you bring up any other Java based GUI application - such as
Oracle's SqlDeveloper on your Solaris platform ?

remember, any additional input that you provide helps the developer to
dig deeper ;)
