Goshen Krogers, at corner of Rt 28 and Flynn Blvd (approx. 5 miles East of I-275/Rt 28 interchange)

Ride Rating: Intermediate - two speed groups. Neal will lead Group A (16-17 mph avg), with help from Catherine Vaughan.
                Chris Blank will lead Group B (14 mph avg) with help from Mark Boeniger
****note - these are average speeds. speed on flats will usually be 3 mph faster.
            Please put your group's cell number in your phone before the ride starts !!!

Ride Description: 40 mile relatively non-hilly ride over lo-traffic country roads to Williamsburg for lunch at world-famous Mama's Restaurant; and return.
    This is a no-drop ride (but you are expected to keep up with your group). Leaders will wait and re-group at all turns.
        This is an official CCC ride. Membership encouraged, but not required. Helmets and sign-in required.

Location: Nisbet Park, Loveland (Railroad Ave, adjacent to the bike trail)

Ride Rating: Intermediate. Group A (with Neal)16-17 mph average
(including hills)
Group B (with
Molly)14-15 mph average (these are average speeds, usually 2-3 mph
faster on the flats)

Ride description: 40 to 45 miles. Some hills. We will be riding the
country roads in the triangle formed by Loveland, Blanchester, and Lebanon.
No particular destination, but we'll stop for a snack break at
about the halfway point.
This is a "no-drop" ride. Riders will re-group at all turns and top of
major hills.

Thursday Wanderers, Sept. 10, depart at 9.30 AM (sharp)

Location: Ross, Ohio. Union Street (overflow park lot; behind the Venice Presbyterian Church located at 4244 Layhigh Rd, 45014)

Ride Rating: Intermediate. Group A (led by Neal) 16-17 mph average (including hills)
                                                Group B (led by Molly) 14-15 mph average (on flats, usually go 2 to 3 mph faster than average)

Ride description: 40 mile ride to Oxford Ohio for lunch. This is the easier route to Oxford (there are still hills),
        Lunch at Kona Bistro on High St.; bring some money.
        The A group will add a few extra miles before lunch
This is a "no-drop" ride. Re-group at all turns and top of hills. Riders are expected to generally keep up with their chosen speed group.
This is an official CCC ride. Helmets and sign-in required. Membership encouraged, but not required.

        NOTE-The ride starts at a different location than the gps--that parking lot is now closed.

route we're taking yet.

of hills. But its not a beginner ride.

 Ride Description: Ride the country roads to Morrow. 44 miles for Group B. Somewhat longer for Group A, going to Salem a few miles beyond Morrow. Some hills for either group. Snack break at halfway point.

 "campden/morrow/44" is the RidewithGPS route for group B. Group A just adds to it at the northern end.

Ride Description: This will be a 52 mile ride on country and subdivision roads with some hills (2150 feet elevation gain). We're going north near Morrow, then west to Lebanon (mile 20-brief stop, if needed) then continue west and south to Mason (mile 40) for a lunch break at the Mason Grill. Continue south back to Loveland
This is a no-drop ride, but riders are expected to keep up with their speed group. Re-group at all turns and top of long hills.
Official CCC ride--sign in and helmet required. Membership encouraged, but not required.

anticipated temp at start is 56 degrees, headed all the way up to 65.
wind from the north to blow us home.

Ride Description: Group B--42 pretty level miles on rural roads to Mt Orab for lunch at Butterbee's American Grille.(mile 20 on route )

    Group A--52 miles with significant hill climb on rural roads to Mt Orab for lunch (at mile 32) same destination, but completely different route.

These are both "no-drop" rides, but you are expected to keep up with your speed groups. Speeds on flats will usually be 2 to 3mph faster than the "av'g" speed.

It should be about 58 degrees at the start. Winds from the SE at 6 mph to help blow us home after lunch.

Ride Description: Group B: 46 mile ride through suburban and country roads to the south (covered bridge) and get blown home by the 12 mph South winds.
                                                there will be two major hill climbs, and a rest stop at UDF at mile 30.
                                Group A: 48-53 miles with at least three major hills, maybe four.
These are "no-drop" rides. groups will re-gather at top of major hills and at all turns.
This is an official CCC ride. Sign-in and helmet required. Membership encouraged, but not mandatory.
