Subject: Grow Leader course launch!!

Happy (nearly) solstice to you all – come and celebrate the end of season with us on Fri 18th Dec (6pm-10pm).

Many thanks to everyone that has been involved this year. Feed Bristol has fought through a tough year but it has allowed us to focus on what we can offer for participants and establish the wildflower nursery. A tricky and emotional year for us on the land but now we can start moving on from the ominous lurking Metro bus monster that has been hanging over us for 4 years.  Although the surrounding area looks a mess we are building on a strong ecological vision for how the site will look in a few year’s time. We are going to be putting in a lot of wooded edges, new ponds and over 150 different species of wildflowers to build up the stock. Nothing will replace what has happened but there are bigger strategic movements to strengthen the protection for this are with a 999 year lease on the table with the council to protect the whole of the 47 acres of Blue Finger soil within Bristol.
