Ok, I take my dog to church and some Temples. I call and ask if there is a place I could keep her while in the Temple. Some will and some won't! Dogs love church and seems to really behave. Leaving dogs alone is not really a great idea even I have had to leave my dog at times. I have gotten a dog sitter at times. You need to educate the person who is going to watch your dog and make sure they know the rules. I don't put my dog in a kennel at a doggy place for I don't want them to get anything from other dogs or etc. Won't take her to a doggy park for the same reason. These are my eyes and I want to have her safe and healthy at all times. I take my dog to concerts (but not loud one), I take her to plays and etc. I always let the place know I have a guide dog. I'm pretty upset that the conference center here in S.L.C stopped letting them come in for a few service dogs acted up and now we have to go into a special room.
Good luck to you and your dog.
