My Beneteau 400 has a painted green stripe just above the water line
I believe the newer Beneteau and many other boats now use a vinyl tape.
Has anyone any experience with using vinyl tape as a method to refresh a tired looking stripe?
I know my stripe is narrower at the bow than the stern so I am a little concerned on trimming it to look good .
Thoughts are appreciated
Fletch

David, my B 461 had vinyl tape and they would get damaged easily specially when she was being hulled out by Crain belt, to repair it you had to replace the whole length. My present B 49 is painted the she has been hulled out a few times the paint holds
up well.
It is easy to touch up as well should it scratch .
