Stephen,

I've been using BVI Yacht Charters for years.  They are excellent.   The beat Dream Yacht Charters by $5000 on the lagoon 450 for the same week.   If I remember correctly they added about 10 new boats recently

I believe Footloose uses the boats that have been retired from the Moorings fleet. Older, but cheaper. May be an option if latest and greatest is not a priority. We've got a charter mid 2017 with TMM. Got a great deal at the last Annapolis show and got to board the same boat we'll be chartering. It's a cat, so not sure that counts.

We have used moorings and they have new clean boats, you can negotiate prices with there specials. Other members from my yacht club has used horizons and they were satisfied
Also sunsail is managed by the same agent as moorings.
Enjoy its a great experience

BVI charters.
Can anyone recommend where is best to charter a monohull in the BVI?   Is Moorings the way to go or are there more affordable options?

Does anyone has a pdf copy of the Beneteau Oceanis 400 manual?

I've looked up the links but this is an old thread and they seem to be
invalid links now

Any helps appreciated!

We chartered a Beneteau 46 w BVI Yacht Charter June 2011. Depth was only electronic that worked. Had genset for AC that leaked diesel and ruined cloths that fell on floor of aft cabin. AC wouldn't stay primed. Jib seam ripped on way to North Sound and had to detour half day to trellis bay for undersized jib. Boat not well maintained.  Loose forward hatch that almost fell into the bay. They tried to blame on us, then admitted it was from previous  charter that they hadn't got around to fixing.
