Curator and Artist Talk: "Temptation of the Mind and Body"

Wednesday, June 22, 2016, 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Harvard Ed Portal, 224 Western Ave., Allston

The Harvard Ed Portal’s Crossings Gallery is proud to present Unbound Visual Arts’ (UVA) exhibition Temptation of the Mind and Body, inspired by the art/science theme that runs through much of the Ed Portal’s programming. UVA is a local non-profit art organization that enriches the community with educational exhibitions and programs. Curator Kayla Spafford has selected works exploring the science and psychology of temptation and how it manifests in everyday life. Featuring work from seven UVA artists, Joanne Desmond, Amy Kelly, Pauline Lim, Joan Mullen, Alexandra Rozenman, Ruth Segaloff, and Nohelia Vargas in media such as sculpture and painting, Temptation of the Mind and Body is sure to captivate, and maybe even provoke, the viewer.

On June 22, the Crossings Gallery will host Spafford, Mullen, Rozenman, and Desmond for a Curator & Artist Talk. They'll be on hand to answer your questions! Attendees will get an insider’s look at what goes into making an exhibition come to life.
