Job Seekers Connection energizes and motivates participants by teaching valuable career search strategies and techniques. You are invited to exchange job leads, business cards, resumes, networking techniques, and interviewing tips. The topics addressed each week are based on input from the group—so come prepared to articulate the kind of job you are seeking.
Nov. 26 - Guest Speaker: Deb Elbaum
Deb Elbaum, MD, CNTC, PCC, is a certified career and executive coach, author, and speaker. A former physician, Deb successfully navigated her own career transition before founding her coaching business. She now helps job seekers and career changers determine their next career move and tackle the job search process -- including networking and interviewing -- with clarity, calm, and confidence. Her approach uses a unique combination of neuroscience, mindfulness, and measurable goal-setting. In addition to individual coaching, Deb speaks on a range of topics, including Using Neuroplasticity to Change Your Professional Story, Networking With Confidence, and Positive Thinking. She has been an invited speaker at organizations such as the Maine Women's Conference, Bryant University Women's Summit, and Bioscience Network.
