Ginny Rehberg is the President of Rehberg Management Group, a leading career advisory, executive coaching and outplacement firm headquartered in Newton, MA. A nationally-recognized expert on career and workplace issues, Ginny became known in the Boston area as The Career Doctor for her work with CBS-affiliate WBZ-TV.

 

Ginny’s broad expertise in coaching professionals and executives has earned her firm a solid reputation and excellent results. The firm’s clients come from diverse industries such as healthcare, technology, academia, insurance, biotechnology, manufacturing, real estate, retailing, broadcasting, law and management consulting. Well-known corporate clients include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Boston Scientific, Millipore, Steward/Caritas Christi Health Care, Gulf Oil, Koch Industries and Goldman Sachs. Non-profit clients include leading academic institutions and charitable organizations.

 

Before founding RMG in 1999, Ginny was a Vice President with DBM and Lee Hecht Harrison (the then #1 and #3 career management firms, respectively). Her background includes line positions with Bank of New England and State Street Bank, both in the U.S. and in Hong Kong. She has also worked in PR, law and journalism, beginning her career as a newspaper reporter.

 

A member of the Chief Executive Officers (CEO) Club of Boston and the HRLF, Ginny formerly served on the International Board of Directors of the Washington D.C.-based Association of Career Professionals International and was the Boston chapter President.

 

Ginny holds a B.A. degree in Communications Sciences, minoring in Psychology, from the University of Connecticut and is qualified to deliver the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). She is the author of “The Career Guide” and “The Career Development Guide.”

 

Named a Top 10 Executive Coach by Women’s Business, Ginny has been quoted in the Boston Globe, New York Times, Wall Street Journal and National Public Radio and was featured on ABC-affiliate WCVB’s award-winning show “Chronicle.”
