GET INVOLVED!
Let your voice be heard as part of Imagine Boston 2013
With input from all those who call our city home, Imagine Boston 2030 will define a vision for Boston leading up to its 400th birthday and beyond, and a road map to realize that vision. As Boston’s first citywide plan in 50 years, Imagine Boston 2030 will create a framework to preserve and enhance Boston, while embracing growth as a means to address our challenges and make the city stronger and more inclusive.
Tell planners and politicians that the neighborhood branch libraries are vital to the future of our city.

Faneuil Branch Library Artist's Talk
Tues. January 24th, 2017
6:00 pm.— 7:30 pm., refreshments served,
Artists have historically been enthusiastic book lovers and readers and this remains true today. This exhibition is filled with artwork where artists celebrate the concept of the book, using it sometimes in a traditional form and other times as a symbol or inspiration. The artist’s ideas might be based on personal story, a literary association, history, politics, humor, grieving, healing, a journey of discovery or an expression of love.
Many pieces in this exhibition take extra time to explore; they may have meanings that are not immediately obvious. Viewers are encouraged to take a few extra minutes in coming weeks to discover and enjoy the 80 works of book-related art by 37 artists that are here on display at BOTH the Faneuil and Brighton Libraries.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Faneuil Library and Friends of the Brighton Library.
