UVA's 54th interpretative exhibition will be its largest and on a theme that everyone wants to learn more about
Featuring 18 UVA artists & 60 original works of art:
Linda Clave, Pete Cormier, Phoebe Ann Erb, Dianne (Iyan) Freeman, Francis Gardino, Pauline Lim, Grace Luk, Nhung Mackey, David Matcham, Nadia Richman, Ruth RIeffanaugh, Richard Salvucci, Atara Schimmel, Katha Seidman, Diane Sheridan, Paul Theriault, Christine Winship, Ellen Zellner
Art has been shown to help in many physical and emotional healing and preventative situations. Human beings are by nature inclined to seek out good health of mind and body for themselves and those around them. This exhibition explores how and why we strive to achieve and maintain good health but sometimes still become unhealthy. Some of the questions to be considered include: What does healthful look like? What are the effects of health and non-health on our well-being? How can art contribute to good health?
