Hi,

I founded these groups to create a place for civil and constructive online discussions about our neighborhood. The groups have been lightly moderated to keep out spam and hoping that people would conduct themselves in a friendly manner, even when we disagree.

It now seems that the group needs to be moderated more actively. Not everything that gets sent to the group will be posted. Please do not email me and ask "why didn't you post my message", but feel free to re-write and re-send it in a more courteous tone and I will reconsider.

Angela and Neighbors,

This group is for discussion of issues and events, not people. Some recent posts have been removed that did not meet this standard. I do not intend to approve future posts that focus on people and personalities.

The way that moderation of this group has been done is that people who posted with appropriate tone and content were approved to post without moderation. Going forward, more people are going to be moderated. This may result in messages that do not get posted or delayed because of the huge amount of spam that this group receives and the limited time that your neighborhood volunteers have to spend moderating this group. Please do not email the entire group or the moderators asking why a message has not been posted.
