Intermediate Microsoft Excel for Harvard Ed Portal Members

This course is intended for Harvard Ed Portal members who wish to
begin using higher-level Excel functionality to analyze and present data.
Prerequisites: Beginner Microsoft Excel 2016 or equivalent experience.
Course Objectives: Learn to create advanced workbooks and worksheets, including advanced formulas, tables, PivotTables, PivotCharts and data filtering.
Course Outline:
1. Customizing the Excel Environment
2. Creating Advanced Formulas
3. Analyzing Data with Functions and Conditional Formatting
4. Organizing and Analyzing Datasets and Tables
5. Visualizing Data with Basic Charts
6. Analyzing Data with PivotTables, Slicers, and PivotCharts
In addition to the course, participants can attend a Practice Session.

Participants will be guided through activities to practice what they learned in the course.
