Hello Allmand Friends
I have some engine problems, when taking off the thermostat housing, it broke into pieces…
I have two questions, is this a sign that my engine needs to be changed, when I fixed the fresh wáterpump, it looked very thin as well last year, maybe the whole block is slowly going….
I did quote with a local distributor in Guatemala, he quote comes to 637 usd, the waterpump 515, are the prices similar in the us ¿ he cannot find the right number for the wáter temperatur sensor, is that needed.
Many thanks and kind regards

If your motor is a universal, it’s a Kubota motor (tractor motor) that is also used in bobcats and other machinery. If you look where the injector manifold attaches to the block there is a stamped number on the block D850 or D650 (this is Kubota’s number). That might help you find a local vendor in your area that has the parts.

Many thanks, Sam gave his agent some time ago, the agent did only answer this time, so now I have an address where I can get all parts (1/3 cheaper then here).
My big question for the experienced ones is, when my thermostat housing is breaking down into pieces, last year the wáter pump is very thin, can break into pieces any momento, is it time to change an engine (34 years old) or just keep on fixing it (it runs good)…
Saludos marco
