New Allmand 31 owner

Just purchased 1981 Allmand 31 (we'll change the name soon).  Original owner named her Private Idaho in 1981 and owned her for many years.  Two other owners in between.

As with all older boats, lots of work to do to make her ours but she was repowered in 2009 with Yanmar 3YM30 and has electric windlass.  More fun once again for long time boat owners.  Friends with CAMELOT owner, Keith who was a great help to us.

Congratulations on your purchase of hull 117. I am sure experienced sailors such as yourselves will enjoy the many unique qualities of the Allmand 31 just as I and many others have.

I look forward to giving her a close inspection once I return from delivering my Saga to the Chesapeake, not to mention maybe cruising with you in the Bahamas next winter.
