I'm Scott Davis, Minneapolis, MN.  I've been importing Grand Bois tires and parts, since last summer.  Some of you may know me from Ebay, (joeeramone or allcampagnolo),  or from my old sdbicycle garage site

I am accepting pre-orders on Grand Bois tires and other  GB products until Monday April 16th.  Checks or paypal accepted.

I wanted to say that I ordered some tyres and randonneur handlebars from Scott and the experience was trouble-free and much easier than trying to do the ordering directly from Grand Bois.

His prices are great and the the GB tyres are IMHO pretty much imperceptible (for 99% of us) from the similiar, pricier offerings from that other guy.

I'll be ordering some bag mounts and things again this year.

CUSTOMS DELAY!

I apologize, but the pre-order from Grand Bois is being delayed in US Customs.  It was scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday to Minneapolis. 

I will update when I receive further info.

GRAND BOIS ORDER UPDATE:

After being stuck in US Customs for a week,  it looks like they're finally going to release it tomorrow.   

Unfortunately,  I'll be away thru Monday.   So, I should be able to ship domestically on Tuesday May 15th.

Or if anyone is going to Cirque,  I could bring small parts such as tires there in person.    I cannot bring rims and handlebars.

Again apologies for the delay.   I've been importing bicycles and parts for over 15 years and this is the 1st order that has been held buy Customs.    Turns out, theyrequired me to file a Motor Vehicle Declaration Form.

They said something about bikes and motorcycles belonging in the same category, which is news to me.      Even worse, the order sat in customs for a whole week before Fedex notified  me of the required form.   FYI I telephoned them every day and they said all the import papers were in order.
