Peter Weigle sold Miss Rene to a guy in Cali, a few years later he sold it to a guy in Portland to a guy who has a friend who started his own 650b-centric shop who helped upgrade a few parts...

Nice to see that bike again, I remember following this bike from Peter's flickr feed awhile back. He sure does do 650B conversions right!

Yep, lots of talented people here in Portland. It's what Silicon Valley used to be to semiconductors. Lots of cross-pollination, ideas swapping back and forth, and more cooperative than competitive, at least right now.
