Hi all: Cleaning the shed in anticipation of a move and paring down the rides (more coming).  Nice 70s French rando for sale.  I got it off ebay for a song from a CR forumite who may check in here at times. His description is below.

1970s Camille Dardenne randonneuring machine. A not so well known Parisian builder, not because of quality, simply quantity. He sponsored professional racers when in his prime. Hi Ryan.  just curious...the last few photos in the second batch show the bike in a fairly restored state as compared to the first photo in the first batch.  What is its current state?

First photo in first batch.  Everything else is there but still in the box!  Original rack, Lefols, generator/light, etc.

Perhaps the more 650b-experienced forumites will chime in, but... This is a good deal. One would be hard pressed to find this level of functionality in this configuration under $1k, I think... Whether the old components work for you better than modern is a matter of taste. Maxicar hubs with Pacenti rims - nice. Rando shape bars - nice. 531 tubing and fits 42mm tires with fenders - nice. Old French geo that plays well with dirt roads - nice. Plus, a bit of history and authenticity that's a good experience for folks who are into the nuances of bikes. I've seen R. Herse bikes in a similar configuration fetch 2-4 times as much without too much more to offer function wise.
