Hi 4tH-ers!
It's quite fun to make drivers for external formats. After RTF I wanted to make a FODT (LibreOffice) driver. There is very little documentation on the web on *minimal* FODT documents - but I found one. I was well on my way when I encountered the first hurdle - tables. Couldn't get it to work. Only to find that OpenOffice rejected the minimal document all together.
It's not a great loss, since RTF works fine on a large body of word processors. So there is no real need for an FODT driver other than to tickle my pride. So - I did the wise thing and abandoned it. I think I can do more functionally relevant stuff with my time.
A nice example is TCS, our tiny spreadsheet. I features a *lot* of different spreadsheet formats. Some more useful than others ;-)
