I'm just starting to use a PEI bed on my delta printer. I bought it to try and solve a PLA lifting issue that I had a few weeks ago. Since then I have solved the lifting issue using blue painters tape at 45 degrees C and isopropyl alcohol but I thought I would experiment with the PEI bed. After 2 prints I am getting lifting on a part that is 10cm  by 6 cm on the bed. Does anyone have any experience and tips they can share?

I can't speak to PLA on PEI but it works very well for PETG (sometimes too well). I find it helps to scuff the PEI with a Scotchbrite pad. Also turn up the bed temp. Ideally the bed should be just below the glass transition temperature of the plastic, which for PLA is 60-65C.

For PLA on glass, I set the bed to 60C and it seems to work fairly well, so I expect the same temperature will work even better on PEI.  OTOH, we're all using thermistors so there's no way to know that my 60C is the same as your 60C, so some experimentation is probably in order.

Thanks for the tips, I increased the temp to 50 degrees, added a brim and wiped some isopropyl alcohol and it fixed the warping issue. I think that increasing bed temp further to about 60 degrees would be even better but I need to upgrade my heater. I agree the thermistor calibration issue means tweaking is required. My PEI bed releases easily when cold and the part surface on the bed side is very smooth.
