Dropped in to the toy store yesterday (Princess Auto). In their surplus section they had a few plastic edge scrapers with a metal core in the blade. They work really well for releasing the print from the buildtak without damaging the surface. There weren't many left when I was there but if you are in the area, might be worth dropping in for a look. They were only $1.99

They edges get beat up quickly, but I would rather the scraper take the damage than the part I'm printing.
