The prices seem to be on the high side though.

What are people using their Pi's for? Is there a pi user group? I would like to introduce my 6 year old daughter and my 4 year old son to the pi.

I have introduced programming clubs but for now they are in Universities.The clubs will be running on raspberry pi and we will be doing a lot of things with them including robotics,data manipulation even web development.So you can get in touch with me for more details.

HAve you introduced these at The University of Zimbabwe? I am a a Raspberry Pi fanatic. Could you please tell me were these clubs are so that i can take part? Would really love to share ideas even on this forum, as i have plenty projects. we could take advantage of the python devs on this forum?
