Running ZAP Docker for the URL which is behind proxy

Hi Team,

We are trying to use ZAP Docker build to scan website which are behind proxy. Is there any way to do that?

We tried with Docker run -env HTTP_URL options but that didn't work.

I will appreciate response. We have been trying to solve this problem for a while but couldnt.

Hi Andy,

You need to configure ZAP with the proxy chain details.

The easiest way to do this is in the UI and then to use that to work out which -config values to set:

• https://www.zaproxy.org/docs/desktop/ui/dialogs/options/connection/
• https://www.zaproxy.org/faq/how-do-you-find-out-what-key-to-use-to-set-a-config-value-on-the-command-line/
