Can't open website

I've tried to open/download yWriter in both Chrome and Firefox (my preferred), using Windows 11 on desktop. Each time I get the notice "This site can't be reached" and "Spacejock.com took too long to respond." I've checked firewall and cleared cache. Is yWriter still working? Any ideas on what I can do?

If you have a VPN, try disconnecting it and loading the website, then turning VPN back on again. If that doesn't work, restart the PC. I hope these were helpful!

I'm from Brazil, and the site is also inaccessible from here.

Since multiple users are reporting this, it might be worth checking a few things:
– Firewall or WAF rules (e.g., country/IP range blocking)
– CDN edge nodes or regional availability
– DNS resolution from different locations

You could also try testing access using a VPN from different countries or checking server logs for denied requests.

Please let me know if you want me to run specific tests from here.

make sure you're using https: and not http:

Thanks to those who responded with advice. As I wrote originally, I tried different browsers. I didn't have a VPN or firewall problem.
What I did was try again a day or two later with all my settings the same as they were and the site was operational. It's really, really helpful to have the link for checking whether the site is up.

I haven't been able to access https://groups.google.com/g/ywriter for days.

I can't access it through my home internet, or my iPhone through my phone network.

I don't have a VPN and haven't changed my settings.

Unfortunately that site was deleted a couple of years ago in a google drive mixup.

There's still a getting started PDF included with yWriter though.

OK, thanks, found it in the yWriter7 subdirectory in the program files directory, but it's called yWriter5Guidepdf, and its a 2008 version. Am I missing something?
