Alt Codes in YW7

With Num Lock ON, it's possible to type symbols on most Windows program -- Alt 3 shows a heart, for instance.

That's not the case in YW. Some codes work though. For example, Alt 0153 does show the ™ symbol.

How it works and what symbols I could use is what I'd like to know.

It's possible the font you're using in the editor doesn't support the characters you're trying to type.

The editor itself uses the same Windows text edit control as wordpad, so anything that works in that program should work in mine.

Very true. Thanks. 

Inserting a symbol (black square here) is a way to have a scene stand out in the Storyboard, which is what I was trying to do. It would be nice to have other ways to do that.

PS: Note that the pink color does not show the character name well (same for yellow, to a lesser extent).
