Copy and Paste Function

Is there a copy and paste function in yWriter? I'm having a bit of frustration as I want to clip bits from my novel and save in yWriter to integrate later. I had to type the whole thing over.

If there is a special keystroke or other method, please let me know

Hi - every text field in yWriter uses the standard windows copy and paste shortcuts:

Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert to paste.

Shift+Del to cut

It only seems to work in SCENES... Can't copy or paste in any other location

Hi! I just registered and I can't cut, copy or paste either. I'd like to cut text from character description to the bio section but the short cut's not working. Is there any other way?

I looked at that. Basically copy/paste works everywhere for me. But if you want to paste a piece of text from one category into another that is empty so far, you have to click into the empty target field before to activate the cursor.

This is how it generally works:

The clipboard content is pasted where the cursor is blinking. If you don't see a cursor in the target field, you must first click where you want to paste.
