Ajibola died yesterday at 89. He founded Crescent University.
We have been formulating theories of possible scenarios after the death of a university founder like him and Afe Babalola. Now a test case. Will Crescent survive?
Faith-based universities such as Convenant, Redeemers, and Veritas are most likely to endure

So sorry to hear!

Let us hope that the founder made a succession plan. Unfortunately, because this is a univision with limited outside endowments/investors if any at all, it might not survive for too long. Hopefully, the children and/or partners/board/some Islamic societies, etc will do something quickly. Even some faith-based (denominational) higher ed institutions are not likely to survive too long in the current economic trend in Nigeria.

May all those Chief Ajibola left behind be comforted!
