Hi Group Leaders / Team,



Due to updates in Child Safe Legislation, it is necessary for ALL Leaders to
commit to a Child Safe update Training Session.   The Training wont take too
long (just a couple of hours) but is mandatory for ALL Leaders in Scouting.



Group Leaders - Please ensure this email is forwarded to all your Section
Leaders.



Kingston District is running two (2) sessions:



1.      Our main (face to face) Training Session will be conducted by
Russell Bradd (Commissioner for Gilwell) at Mordialloc Scout Hall - Park
Street, Mordialloc, at 2.30pm on Sunday 10th September, 2023.



2.      For anyone who is not available on 10th September, there will be an
online ZOOM Training Session conducted by Daniella Taglieri (Deputy Chief
Commissioner) on Thursday 31st August at 7pm.



Any Kingston Leader who can't attend either of these two sessions will need
to make arrangements to attend an update Training Session at either another
District or one of the sessions run by Branch.



This is Compulsory Training.   Please let your Group Leader know which
session you are able to attend.   For those wishing to attend the ZOOM
session, a link to join will be sent (via your Group Leader) closer to the
date.
