Assistance Needed with Lease Deed Execution (Sect 18) Process

Hello everyone,

Could someone please guide me through the lease deed execution process (Sect 18 - 7(B))? The checklist I received is quite confusing, so if you've recently completed this process, I’d appreciate any details on requirements and charges.

Also, is it possible to add a spouse to the deed, and do you know of any reliable agencies or contacts who can help expedite this?

 I have plot in 17A and recently went to site. All I could find was farms. Now I am doubtful whether I went to the right location or not. Would it be possible for you to share google map coordinate/location for Sector 17A site?

We have a plot in same Pocket/Sector.

The lease deed registration as well as possession letter formalities have already been completed way back in start of 2023 itself.

Pls visit the authority and get clarity regarding your specific case at earliest.

Yes, it is possible to add your spouse as a co-lessee in the lease deed for YEIDA residential plots, including those in Sector 18, subject to certain conditions and approvals by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).

Scenarios Where Spouse Can Be Added:

1. Before Lease Deed Execution:

If the lease deed has not yet been executed, you can apply to include your spouse’s name at the time of signing.

You will need to submit an application to YEIDA requesting inclusion along with necessary documents (see below).

2. After Lease Deed Execution (Post-Allotment):

If the lease deed has already been executed in your sole name, you can apply for addition through a transfer/mutation request.

This will require YEIDA’s prior approval, and possibly a stamp duty differential.

Required Documents Typically Include:

Application form addressed to YEIDA

Copy of allotment letter

Identity proof of both parties (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)

Marriage certificate

No objection affidavit (in some cases)

Draft lease deed (for joint name)

Applicable processing fee

Passport-size photographs
