Hi folks,

After approximately "ages" we're meeting in person again.

Keeping to our old slot of the 2nd Thursday (evening) of the month, we're at Ada College in Ancoats. We'll be waving goodbye to Kevin, who has rather rudely retired. I'll also be rambling semi coherently for some minutes beforehand.

We need a list of names for the venue so that we ask that you acquire a free ticket if you're coming, and please spread the word that we're back via LinkedIn and whatever networks you kids use these days.

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong, Leon) that the coffee morning will still be happening on this date also.

I think I can hard code an exception into the guest list, just this once.

And in case anyone was wondering, Lean Coffee will be happening on 11th as usual. 7.30 for a 7.45 start. I'll post the link up closer to the day.

So why not start and end your day with Extreme Programming chat?

I've just realised I'm going to be away for this. :(

Have a great time, and enjoy your retirement Kevin.

Hey all

It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces in the pub last Thursday, especially as I thought I was going to miss out altogether on the XP Manchester deliciousness because of the Deliver Sessions double booking.

This is blatant spam, but any of you who know anything about Manchester Tech Festival or have attended any of Amy Newton's events will hopefully forgive me...

Manchester Tech Festival starts next Wednesday and runs for the following week and a half. It really is a fantastic event - one of my highlights of the year. But like most events these days, selling tickets is a challenge.

Tickets are MUCH cheaper than most conferences and being on our own doorstep it really is worth attending and supporting.

If you haven't already got yourself and your colleagues a ticket, now's the time to support this amazing event.

It'd also be massively appreciated if you spread the word. You don't even need to put "pen" to "paper" - you can just like, repost, comment, etc on the following...
