Hi all,

After struggling with the once simple task of organising a venue, I have finally gotten everything in place for this month's in person.

This is a hands on, practical coding session on driving your refactoring through  connascence. This came about because after November's session, John asserted to Jim that systematically reducing the level of connascence in code yields better results than "just refactoring", after Jim called connascence an academically nice idea, but not that useful in practise.*

In other news whilst finding out places that weren't available for February, I've ensured they are booked for March and April. If you have a session in your back pocket, or an idea you'd like to try out, send a message and let's get you speaking.

*This was after the session, so you can guess where we were, the details are fuzzy.

LOL, you may have secured a venue but you forgot to tell us what it was. Where / when are we meeting? Eventbrite doesn't say.

You don't see these details on the eventbrite page?

Ah ok. "Code Manchester" doesn't sound like a place, it sounds like an activity!

Google Maps suggests that might be "Code, formerly CodeComputerLove" at 1 New Quay St, Manchester M3 4BN. Is that the one?
