xsync null pointer exception

Dear experts, 

For all projects, I transfer my images using xsync. However, for one or two projects this keeps failing. I find the debugging of this extremely difficult. The xsync log mentions a null pointer exception on the XSyncSetupcontroller.java (after saving xsync settings). Other projects work fine BTW.  How would I go about to dive deeper into this message to resolve this issue?

Hi Jan,

a) For the projects which are throwing the NullPointerException, are they being synced into the same Remote Xnat as the projects which are successfully being synced?

b) How does the sync JSON for the projects which succeed contrast with the ones that fail (to look up the sync json log in as Admin and use the Xsync setup controller Api)?

I am having similar problem. One of my projects fails to synchronize. I've tried to delete all subjects on the target, however, this does not seem to change anything. Synchronization hans at the very first subject and after several hours it produces some (for me) unmeaningful information:

Has your remote authentication expired?

Go to your source project, under Manage Tab - Xsync - reenter your remote XNAT authentication

No. It’s still valid. I’ve tried again but it still hangs up at the first subject.
