Hi there,

I noticed Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps, or less secure apps, from May 30th. I was wondering if there is any planned workaround to continue using Gmail to send emails from XNAT?

Thanks,
Lorena

What I’ve been able to find out about this is very unclear. For sure you won’t be able to use a gmail account name and regular password to authenticate against Google’s SMTP server, but, as best I can tell, app passwords should still continue to function. You can read about those here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833.
