Hi, I have upgraded XNAT 1.8.10.1 to new VM with  psql (PostgreSQL) 16.1.  It seems like XNAT is taking too long to load the project. Any suggestions to improve the performance is appreciated.

Thanks
Shaji

This may be a good one to bring to the Open Office hours on Wednesday if you are available.  It generally comes down to a missing INDEX.  But, sometimes we have to do some EXPLAIN ANALYZE calls to track it down.

Is it the subject listing that is taking to long?

Yes Timothy. On larger projects I have noticed populating the Subject table can take on the order of 3 or 4 minutes. Prior to a recent upgrade, even much larger projects did not seem to have this issue (that I can recall). I'm aware of a DB vaccuum / maintenance option in the administrative panel, but we haven't run that in awhile. Do you think that would be a good place to start?
