Nice experience which I too going through with 2 years & 7 months grand daughter of mine. But the difference is I am experiencing everyday something or other as she is  with us right from her birth. Currently we are in Vietnam. So every evening I get a call on WA where we are, what we are doing & when we will be back.
Normally I speak loudly. She thinks I am shouting at my wife. Immediately she will intervene & asks me not to shout at grandma.
