Hey Matthew!
I always say that the students are providing “suggested grades” which are always a score and not an actual grade. I have about 40% of the grading on my side, and bout 60% on their side. They submit their “suggested grades” to me at midterm and finals, and I compile them, together with my grades into a mid-term and final grade. I’m not doing XB, but the version of CAO that Stacie and David and I wrote about in our book. So I realize its different than what you are doing.
